The student is said to have sent the message to President Kenyatta and Duale in his English paper one (Functional skills) script threatening to kill both of them at an unmentioned date.

The student from Elimu Bora Secondary School in Mandera town has been arrested and will be presented in court on Monday.

This heinous incident comes barely months after students from Ambira High School were arrested after a video of the insulting CS Matiangi and Mohammed went viral. They went to an extent saying they even cheated.

James Orengo and city lawyer Nelson Havi came out to defend the boys arguing that the incident was a bad example of young people copying Kenyan adults known to engage in extreme impunity and graft. Nelson Havi offered his services to represent the boys in court.
