2022 succession having kicked off in style, DP now appears to be temperamental after the handshake between Raila Odinga and President Uhuru Kenyatta.
After the handshake, Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga agreed to work together and even formed a building bridges taskforce so as to enhance a cohesive government.
DPs discomfort transpired when his political antagonist Baringo senator Gideon Moi began buckling his political huskiness outside his backyard which would complicate DPs poll model.
Gideon was in western Kenya hosted by NASA leaders as he aided an event with his next ally Musalia Mudavadi.
Uhuru earlier publicly declared that his choice of a successor would shock many. Ruto accused unnamed opposition personnel of trying to undermine his role in government.
“The person who took an oath to help the President as his principal assistant is I William Ruto. When Jubilee programmes or the President’s work goes wrong or stalls, the person to be taken to task is me,” said DP William Ruto on Saturday.

Opposition leaders after the handshake between Raila and Uhuru Kenyatta have been so close to the president which has made DP William Ruto uncomfortable.
Ruto publicly declared in Tharaka Nithi that he will crush anyone who comes on his way.
What transpired behind the closed doors on March 9 still worries DP Ruto as Raila Odinga and his counterpart were both appointed.
Raila was appointed as the African Union Special Envoy on Infrastructure Development and Kalonzo as Special Peace Ambassador for South Sudan.
The opposition party is in the look to split Rift valley votes which they believe will doom DPs bid and in turn, they will win.
