Moses Kimungu and Andrew Sigowo have been charged in Eldoret for printing fake KCSE exams and degree certificates for Moi University and the University of Eldoret.

The two suspects who denied the charges are facing nine counts in relation to the illegal business that had been going on for almost a decade.

The two appeared before chief magistrate Charles Obulutsa. in Eldoret.

They were charged with making documents without authority contrary to section 357( a) of the penal code.

Institutions affected include Mount Kenya University, Eldoret National Polytechnic, and Olesos Technical Training Institute.

The police who stormed their cyber cafe recovered KCSE and KCPE papers.

Police also stormed a cyber cafe in the town used to print the fake documents, computers, and machines used in the forging certificates.
