Deputy President William Ruto speaking at PCEA Kenyatta Road where he was presiding over a church fundraiser, he promised Ksh50 billion to Kiambu County residents to uplift their living standards.
He indicated that the money will out in the next few years. He also stated that the money promised will be channeled through various initiatives including a 10,000-unit housing project under Jubilees Big Four Agenda.

The houses set to be built by the government will be set up in the major town in the county including, Thika, Juja, Limuru, Kiambu, and Gatundu. the housing project will see over 50,000 youths employed as per Uhuru’s statement.
Deputy President William Ruto was accompanied by Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu, Francis Munyua (Juja), Patrick Wainaina (Thika) and Didmus Barasa (Kimilili).
