Former Prime minister Raila Odinga on Monday toured P.C.E.A’s Kangoya Child Development Center for a Christmas luncheon.
Unlike other leaders such as DP or even Uhuru Kenyatta who are ever being accompanied by area leaders an even from far apart, local leaders snubbed Railas visit.
None of the elected leaders from Kiambu County accompanied him even though Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu’s office confirmed being informed about it he never turned up.
Legislator Kimani Ichungwa stated categorically that he will not attend the meeting even if he was aware of it. He also said that he was accompanying DP William Ruto on a working tour in Garissa county.
On his tour, Raila Odinga used the platform to address claims that the war on corruption was targeting the DPs allies.

“The fight against corruption will continue and I support the President on this. Those leaders saying that it is only one community being targeted should know that those implicated did it individually and not on behalf of their communities,” said Raila.
Several Kalenjins have been in the recent nabbed for corruption with investigation agencies ensuring that they will be all prosecuted.
Kiambu being a DP stronghold come 2022 as even Governor Waititu declaring publicly to support DP William Ruto in his bid.
Nandi Senator Kiprotich Arap Cherargei had earlier accused Director of Public Prosecutions Noordin Haji of ethnically profiling the Kalenjin community.
However, in response, Rarieda MP Otiende Amollo indicated the unfair distribution of the positions of power in parastatals and government corporations as the main reason most of the leaders involved in graft scandals were from selected communities.
