21st December is definitely an important day for Deputy President William Ruto and in 2018, William Ruto will be celebrating three important events in his life.
On Friday 21st, 2018, Ruto will be graduating with a doctorate degree in plant ecology from the University of Nairobi after he successfully defended his thesis on the ‘Influence of Anthropogenic Activities on Land Use in Western Kenya’.This means that William Ruto will be a holder of Ph.D. and his name will change to Dr. William Ruto. Ruto’s graduation has sparked mixed reactions from Kenyans as a section claim that the DP managed to graduate because of his position in the government and Kenyan politics. However, Ruto has been pursuing the course since 2012.
William Ruto was born on 21st December 1966 on Sugoi village, Turbo constituency in Uasin Gishu County and he will be turning 52 years on his graduation day. This means that Ruto will be celebrating his 52nd birthday.
On 21st December 1991, Ruto married the love of his life, Rachel Ruto and they will be celebrating their wedding anniversary.
The ‘tangatanga’ team will have a reason to celebrate the success of their leader as 2019 appears to have favored the DP. Ruto missed graduating in 2016 after he failed to meet the requirements and therefore tomorrow’s graduation will be an important step.
