Ruto Should Retire With Uhuru Kenyatta, Says Jubilee Vice Chair

David Murathe Jubilee Party Vice Chairman has asked Dp William Ruto to retire with President Uhuru Kenyatta come 2022.

Murathe countinued saying that the Kikuyu Community don’t have any MoU with anyone regarding to the 2022 succession politics.

Murathe further mentioned that President Uhuru Kenyatta had already led the government for the required two terms and both retire at the end of the second term.

“Let you not be deceived by the Tangatanga movement because both Ruto and Uhuru have served their full terms and should retire together,” stated Murathe who was speaking in Vihiga during the 39th Maragoli cultural.

“If you (Ruto) have led with Uhuru for two terms, what else do you want? We don’t know someone who will guard us but we know someone who will break us. We will take someone who will safeguard Mt Kenya, ” Murathe countinued.

The close ally to Uhuru intimated that Jubilee has no presidential candidate.

“If he Ruto has a MoU with Uhuru Kenyatta, then that was an agreement between two individuals,” he stated.

Murathe averred that Ruto should not ‘pretend’ to be speaking on behalf of Jubilee on matters of the referendum.

Murathe also defied the move that Ruto is opposing the refurendum as he claim that Jubilee had not yet taken a position.
