MP Maina Kamanda Exposes Source of President Uhuru and Ruto Fallout

A member of Parliament from Jubilee Party has revealed the source of conflict between Presidentnt Kenyatta and Deputy President William Ruto after the handshake.

Nominated MP Maina Kamanda revealed in an interview at Kameme FM. He revealed that he attended a tense meeting at State House between the two parties.

In the meeting at State House which was meant to discuss the 2018 Finance Bill, Kamanda claimed that DP Ruto called on his allies to reject it in an attempt to embarrass the President.

At that meeting, the Deputy President bitterly opposed his boss and even some of our Mt Kenya MPs were on his side. They were only interested in embarrassing the President,” stated Kamanda.

The alleged confrontation came few months afterthe famous handshake between President Kenyatta and Raila Odinga.
