Agnes Gachoki who resigned from Governor Anne Waiguru’s Cabinet has finally spoken up about how she was forced to exit.
The minister who was working as county’s Health Executive who submitted her resignation on Thursday revealed that she had made the move due to frustrations from the governor.
She further exposed that she had been unhappy with how Waiguru was supervising her work.
“I can’t work under the current administration because it has been frustrating me when carrying out my official duties,” stated Agnes Gachoki.
She also accused the governor of ignoring her contributions to the health docket.
“My advice to the governor on how to improve the health sector was ignored and I always felt very disturbed,” said Agnes.
Her resignation came as a shock, in 2018, during her launch of a programme aimed at making linen for patients at Kerugoya, the former Devolution Cabinet Secretary described Gachoki as one of her most active officers. Gachoki is a doctor who possesses 10 years of experience in Medicine.
