Miguna Miguna a Kenyan Lawyer who was deported to Canada for swearing in Raila as the peoples President has revealed Uhurus plan to kick out DP Ruto of Jubilee party.
Miguna Miguna revealed it in his recently published book Treason: The Case Against Tyrants and Renegades and claimed that Uhuru had the plan all along.
The troubled Lawyer disclosed that Uhuru had “mortal fear of Ruto” in two elaborate schemes to push him out in the middle of his second term. Miguna also claims that in the second term (scheme) Uhuru had planned to launch a fight against corruption in which the DP would be edged out as a casualty.
“The idea was to weaponize the fight against corruption and use it to undermine, sabotage and attempt to destroy their perceived, or real, political enemies, including Ruto before removing him as Uhuru’s DP,” wrote Miguna.
He further revealed that the presidents’ advisers were ever determined to ensure Ruto does not ascend to President come 2022. He singled out businessman Jimmy Wanjigi who shared with him stories of Uhuru’s fear of the DP.
He also reveals that the Presidents team had planned all along to expand the Executive with a prime minister post that would be taken up by Uhuru after his second terms end. Miguna explained that Uhuru sought to review the winner-takes-it-all structure of government against an earlier pact he had made to support Ruto for 2022 elections.
The fight to beat Ruto had already taken shape with former Jubilee Vice-Chair David Murathe coming out and publicly vowing to block Ruto from becoming President. He accused the DP of rigging party nominations, especially in Mount Kenya and Rift Valley regions.
