Deputy President William Ruto has revealed the first instructions his boss President Uhuru Kenyatta gave him after the won the election in 2013.

Ruto narrated how their first entry to State House as the country’s bosses. The duo arrived at the office, President Kenyatta told his Deputy to pray.

After the prayer, an aide whose identity was hidden by DP Ruto, decided to use their feelings of disbelieve that they were finally in charge, to play a joke on them.

“Another aide of ours, I don’t want to mention his name because he has applied for a job and it might be used against him, this gentleman told us ‘Now you guys, suppose somebody shows up here and says there was a small mistake and you were not the ones supposed to be there’,” recalled DP Ruto.

Free College Education For KCSE Candidates Who Scored Ds

Last years KCSE candidates who did not qualify to join university are set to study for free in the various colleges across the country.

This comes according to the new plan by the ministry of education where the government will subsidize some part of the fees and still eligible for a government loan to pay the remaining amount.

School fees at TVET institutions averages at Ksh 56,420, where the government will clear Kshs 30,000 initial payment while the balance is easily paid by a government loan of up to Ksh. 40,000 that the students will be eligible.

The loan will be available to all TVET students just like the ones in University so as to avoid discrimination in the transition to higher education which in the past were only favoured to the high performing students.

“We are reforming the sector to make it relevant as it is crucial for the Big Four agenda,” stated Education CS Amina Mohamed.

Deputy President William Ruto is so keen as he looks forward to succeed President Kenyatta at the end of his term. He is looking forward to increase key contacts in different capitals as the race heat up.

According to Daily Nation, DP Ruto has turned foreign travels as he seeks to establish good working relationships across the world.

This revelation comes days after DP announced that he was slowing down his presidential bid. His first visit was to the United Kingdom on Wednesday, February 6 has set the ball rolling.

DP Ruto on his visit to the United Kingdom gave a lecture at Chatham House where he proposed for the creation of an office of the leader of the opposition.

“The winner ascends to a formally constituted leadership role while the runner-up becomes a virtual stranger in leadership,” the DP stated during his address.

Details have appeared that President Kenyatta may have been hoaxed into presenting dummy title deeds during a ceremony at Jacaranda Grounds, Nairobi in May 2018.

According to Dailly Nation, Nairobi Lands Cabinet Executive Charles Kerich was put to task by Nairobi County Assembly Planning Committee Chairperson Anthony Kiragu on Friday to explain what transpired.

“As a committee, we want to know who lied to the President that 50,000 titles were ready whereas that was not the truth,” enquired Kiragu.

The Lands  CEC revealed that the figure was arrived at based on a realistic target they thought could be met. Charles Kerich revealed that 623 title deeds had been issued to Nairobi county residents. He continued that 30,000 of the titles were yet to be issued by the county government while the rest would be handled by the national government.

During the issuing of the title deeds, President Kenyatta had noted that some investors in the city were living in fear because they had put up buildings on parcels of land without title deeds and time had come for them to get their right.

“Those to whom we have issued with titles today will know Nairobi is also theirs,” said Kenyatta.

Days after Murathe revealed that DP Ruto rigged in the Jubilee Primaries, more jubilee leaders are no turning against him since he was involved in the scheme.

Mwaura also claimed that the election was a sham all along. His counterpart kabando wa Kabando revealed that the rigging was aimed at ending careers of certain politicians who were considered a threat to 2022 succession politics.

Murathe who had appeared on Live Tv explained that there was a group of people behind the Chaotic nominations in the party which was part of the rigging plan.

“The first day, they started by creating some commotion in several parts of the country and we had to recall the results. The first day of the party nominations flopped,” revealed Murathe. The chaos prompted the party to recall the elections.

David Murathe who was Jubilee Party Vice-chairman on Tuesday revealed how DP Ruto rigged the party elections before the 2017 general elections.

Murathe who was speaking during an interview on Citizen Television, he revealed the cause of his problems with DP Ruto. “I have outlined several (issues), it his attitude and frankly speaking, it started with the Jubilee party nominations,” said Former Jubilee Vice-chair.

Murathe further revealed that there was a group of people behind the chaotic nominations so as to facilitate the rigging in the party polls.

When we repeated the fresh nominations, all hell broke loose because interested parties rigged out highly popular people particularly in Mount Kenya and Rift Valley regions. They were able to manipulate the nomination results,” he stated.

“I have a problem with his models of planning. I haven’t had an opportunity to sit him down and tell him if he continues down that road, he is on his own so I have had to come out publicly. And sometimes you may find he is not the problem, it is the cartel around him that is responsible for a lot of this,” he stated.

William Kabogo who lost to Waititu in the party primaries expressed his displeasure to social media on how the party conducted its nominations.

Members of the National Assembly have revealed a Ksh. 400 million a secretly operated presidential kitty. The members of the public service commission in a meeting with Labour Principal Secretary Nelson Marwa demanded that the government should come out clean about the presidential kitty.

The legislators further claimed that the kitty was being operated secretly with some claiming that it never even existed at all. The presidential kitty is said to be shared among 290 constituencies with each one qualifying for Ksh. 1.3 million which have been meant to benefit 45 needy students each receiving Ksh. 30,000.

The Public Service Committee which is led by Ugunya Mp Opiyo Wandayi quantified that the secretly operated presidential kitty did not benefit the rightly deserving needy students and awarded to the undeserving ones. It was further explained that the kitty was benefitting students from specific ethnic backgrounds.

Labour Permanent Secretary Nelson Marwa further assured the committee that the ministry was working to ensure the situation is handled to ensure fairness while distributing the kitty.
